Service and accounts
BookSell connects ebook sellers and readers. Users must provide accurate information, protect their login method, and are responsible for activity performed through their account.
Seller responsibilities
Sellers may upload only content they own or are authorized to distribute. Listings, prices, covers, files, and descriptions must accurately represent the product and comply with applicable law.
Purchases and access
BookSell may offer 7-day rentals, 30-day rentals, permanent purchases, and a non-renewing 30-day all-access pass. Access may be limited after a refund, fraudulent payment, policy breach, or rights dispute.
Payments and payouts
Checkout may be completed by an external payment provider. Seller proceeds are calculated after platform fees, payment fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and required holds.
Prohibited conduct
Copyright infringement, unauthorized copying, scraping, bypassing access controls, fraudulent transactions, account resale, and unlawful activity are prohibited.
Changes and liability
BookSell may change or suspend parts of the service for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or third-party outages. Liability is limited to the extent allowed by law.
