Policy summary

Seller Policy

Rules for listing ebooks, content rights, quality review, sales, payouts, and enforcement.

Effective date: July 13, 2026

Rights and accuracy

Sellers must own or control all required rights to the manuscript, cover, images, and other listing materials. Titles, descriptions, prices, and files must be accurate.

Content standards

Illegal, infringing, deceptive, malicious, privacy-violating, or materially low-quality content may be rejected, hidden, suspended, or removed.

Review and publication

BookSell may review files and listing information before or after publication. Paying a listing fee does not guarantee approval or continued publication.

Sales and payouts

Seller proceeds are calculated from verified transactions after platform fees, payment fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and required reserve periods.

Refunds and disputes

Sellers must cooperate with customer support, copyright claims, refunds, payment disputes, and requests for evidence. Related amounts may be withheld or deducted.

Enforcement

BookSell may request corrections, limit visibility, suspend sales or access, hold payouts, remove listings, or close seller access for serious or repeated violations.
